Message from the North Attleborough Housing Authority

NAHA Staff and Commissioners are “housers” of the Commonwealth’s low-income families, elderly and disabled. We hold that a safe, decent affordable home and thriving community are essential for quality and success in life, especially for children. Every day, public housing authorities promote and adhere to the principles of fair housing, equal access and opportunity, and anti-discrimination. We foster core human values of respect, dignity and accountability in the programs we deliver.

NAHA’S Mission is to provide safe, decent, and sanitary conditions for very low income families and to manage resources efficiently. These efforts are evidenced by adoption of the industry Codes of Conduct, the Ethics programs of both HUD and EOHLC; and the promotion of a Resident Code of Conduct.

From the 2017 HUD Admin Plan: NAHA promotes “fair housing and the equal opportunity for very low-income families of all ethnic backgrounds to experience freedom of housing choice.” We work to empower our residents and a healthy community. We remain committed to being part of the solution to the injustices that exist and evolve.

We will continue to listen to our members and industry partners and collaborate on ways to influence public policy to eliminate racism and inequality. We welcome the opportunity to distribute materials and schedule presentation to advocate, educate and affect change with a common goal of true “equality for all.”
